THE QUEST FOR INNER-STRENGTH BASED LEADERSHIP

 

Many people view school and college as a stepping-stone to careers in which they will be leaders. This leadership may be in a classroom, courtroom, corporation, hospital, community agency, ministry, service organization or in their own business. This reality, plus the fact that virtually every college graduate will be supervising someone, points to the importance of learning how to be an effective leader. By nature, leadership involves an influence relationship that is designed to produce important development and real changes. And virtually every college graduate will be involved in some type of influence relationship where the goal is to bring about real changes. The basic principles of every human development are built and functioned through INNER STRENGTH.

 

In a world full of forward-thinking energy and dynamic balance where entrepreneurship is the main driver of development, everything undergoes fundamental changes and transformation. Today, leadership is often perceived as power and status.  Unfortunately, only born leaders with inner strength will be leading from within. With the growing importance of entrepreneurship in our daily lives, we need to explore the core strength of our inner ability far more than ever before.

 

People in general need to be more independent and responsible for everything that goes on in their lives. People need to be more proactive in taking more risk in their decision making process. Moreover, they need to take more responsibilities for their decisions and actions.

 

The world we know today is not the world we grew up with. We are witnessing major challenges in the outer world: global warming, hunger, migration, over consumption, terrorism and an environment crisis and we want to find a way to play a more conscious role in shaping the future.

 

FUTURE  FEMALE’S LEADERSHIP REINFORCEMENT

 

The world now desperately needs more feminine leadership. The feminine and masculine leadership have been out of balance for too long. Nature has give the masculine part of humanity the insatiable desire to go forward even at the risk of overestimation of own forces and abilities. The feminine part of humanity is more cautious. Women would rather avoid taking risk when they do not feel confident that they can cope with the risk. Therefore, women often miss a lot of opportunities exploring the limits of their true abilities, strength, and competencies. We need more leadership which has a balance of both worlds.  More and more corporate analysts have confirmed these issues.  It has been known that companies with mixed genders seem to have better sustainable performance.

 

Countless organizations have been losing far too many valuable talents because women are disadvantaged in pay, development, and promotion. They are losing too many executive female talents due to these invisible stumble blocks. Too many women are unaware of their leadership talents and strength because they have never had a chance to test and prove them.  We cannot waste more talents in a world where the demand for exceptional abilities and competencies is fast growing.

At work, WOMEN have never been more prepared and never have had more opportunities. Yet many women are opting out of corporate life and choosing to go their own way. However, women have a vital role to play in this century and each of us embodies the power to influence, to decide, to lead and to stir up change.

Women's feminine leadership is the key to transforming organizations, and communities. Long-term change has to happen in a new model where values such as integrity, compassion, listening, receiving and a win-win approach to negotiation play key roles. Feminine Leadership inspires authenticity, caring and sharing, a new leadership style and feminine ways of doing business.

Feminine leadership is about taking the next step, it is about creating a life that has possibilities without the stress, it is about combining two worlds and not having to choose between either/or. It is about giving hope, a sense of community and living simpler and a more fulfilling life.

Feminine Leadership is not just about gender. Feminine Leadership focuses on total diversity, recognizing that everybody is part of an interdependent system.

We believe that the quest for personal inner strength is one of the most important needs to build strong leaders of the 21st century. Therefore, this should be the biggest agenda of any leadership development curriculum.
